The campaign train of the National leader of the All Progressive Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, reaches Benue and Kwara states respectively, he further met with party delegates and stalwarts in the states. A visit he attested to have 'enjoyed'.
The tour is due to the fast-approaching primary election of the All progressive congress APC, and aspirants need to have the support of the party chieftains and delegates across the board.
In light of the above, Asiwaju kept on visiting one state after another, while meeting with delegates and echoing a need for a visionary leader, the people's government-oriented 2023, and why he is the best brain to fill the Aso villa after President Muhammadu Buhari's tenure.
Tinubu visit In Kwara
Asiwaju was warmly received by a large mammoth crowd upon getting to the airport, from there he went ahead to the statehouse meeting party delegates and assuring them of the best and ideals service of his presidency if elected.
Asiwaju also visited the Emir of Ilorin, His Imperial Majesty, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Zulu Gambari, while at the palace, the former Lagos state governor, also inform the Emir of his wish to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari, and how he will handle the government if elected.
Asiwaju said, he his happy with the hospitality with which he was welcomed, "I am particularly grateful to his excellency, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, and His Imperial Majesty, The Emir of Ilorin for the warm welcome and hospitality during my visits to the State House and the Emir’s Palace."
Asiwaju confirms, that he is glad to have won the support of the delegates and the people's trust, "I am proud to have won their support and the support of our proud delegates."
Asiwaju thank the state delegates for allowing him to address them, "I thank, also, the state’s delegates. It was, indeed, a pleasure to address you and set forth my vision for this country."
Asiwaju in Benue State
With the joy received from the warm welcome in Kwara still fresh, Asiwaju went ahead to the 'Food Basket of the nation', Benue state. He was warmly received, and he met with party delegates and stalwarts.
Asiwaju said, "I enjoyed my visit, this morning, to the beautiful Benue State. I thank our members in the state for turning out in such massive numbers to show their support and lend their energy to the Tinubu campaign."
In Benue, the Jagaban of Borgu said, "as our campaign nears the next crucial step in the contest, we remain steadfast and forward-looking in our struggle to usher in a new era of prosperity, peace, and unity across Nigeria."
Asiwaju reiterate that it's by the support of the delegates and Nigerians that he can achieve victory, "Together we will achieve a great victory!"
Asiwaju shows capacity and needs for good governance, when he said, "I will not rest until we have secured, together, the result for which we continue to work so hard!"
On the campaign train of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, were friends, loyalists, and close allies including Senator Kashim Shettima.
