Lagos state Governor addresses party delegates

Governor of Lagos state Mr. Babajide Sanwo Olu has addressed the members of Lagos state All Progressive Congress as the Primary election of the APC started today. 

He made the address through his verified handle, "I want to send a special message to the esteemed members of All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, party leaders, all stakeholders, and our distinguished delegates".

Governor Sanwo Olu who is also an aspirant in the primary election state that he will ensure a peaceful, and transparent election.

Governor Sanwo Olu said "Our party will conduct the gubernatorial primary election today where I am a contestant. We will do all to ensure the process is peaceful, transparent, and in conformity with our party's and INEC guidelines".

He further said, "Lagos as the Centre of Excellence must set an example for other states to follow" and conversely believed he is going to win his return ticket at the exercise, "as a contestant, I am confident of victory because I have earned your trust & confidence in the last 3 years as Governor".

He concluded by saying he will continue on his campaign promises while delivering good governance to the people. "We have delivered across all sectors and my solemn promise and commitment to you today, is to continue to diligently serve the citizens of this state".
