Kaduna PDP primary election update

Still, in the primary electioneering period of the major political parties in Nigeria, the result coming in is giving election observers a wonder, as the game is tilting to be 'not business as usual.

The latest primary election update is the Kaduna state gubernatorial election of the People's Democratic Party which saw one of the leading politicians lose their ticket to a "Not so popular candidate on social media".

The official result of the Kaduna primaries has not been declared, but one of the aspirants who has a large following on social media has taken to his handle, speaking as regards the election.

Senator Shehu Sani

The Candidate is a Former 8th Assembly senator, Senator Shehu Sani. He lost the Primary to Honourable Isah Ashiru.

Sani said, "The Kaduna PDP Governorship primaries have been concluded. I lost and Honourable Isah Ashiru won".

He congratulated the winner, saying "and I wish to congratulate him." While making a stand that he didn't pay delegates to vote for him, but wishes to appreciate the votes he got from the delegates, "Two Delegates voted for me without giving them a dime; unfortunately, I don’t know who they are so that I can appreciate these clean votes. 

He concluded by saying, he looks forward to the next step, "We look forward".
