During the winding up tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari, an entire ethnic was profiled by a group of people calling them 'Herdsmen' or 'Fulani terrorists' or in a derogatory manner 'Aboki' - a word which means friend but they give it an entire political meaning.

In a world that depends on others in a political ecosystem that depends on the support of other tribes, regions, and society to become whatever you want to become, most importantly clinching the Presidency, then people who seek to get this must shake hands across the Niger, if that is not possible you shake hands below the Niger.
What can the Ohaneze Ndigbo do differently?
The handlers of the Ohaneze should put up a strict and strong warning to her streams of young ones who speak and act like they have the extant support of their elders to spew out hate and nothing will happen.
Just as the matter of Lagos is no man's land is yet to settle, Yoruba's are rascals came up, then the case of one man with Eastern blood, based in South Africa putting up a live event spewing hate against the revered seat of the Oba of Benin, and the good people of Edo state, saying all sort of words, the result, the Edo sons and daughters fire back, even more fiercely.

It should be noted, no region has the monopoly of speech, it is quantity matching quantity, and quality meeting higher quality, and where it stops for one, it starts with the other.
Teaching the Children that this region did this or that one did that will only result in more hatred, if everyone does that the country will be good as sitting on a keg of gunpowder, ready to explode with a little fire.
Finally, let us remember changing the world is not easy, it takes a group working together. Let's embrace this idea, and work together as a people to change the world, starting from our family to our community, to the state level, and then the world.
But, if because I am a Yoruba man, I am a political rascal, so be it!
