Valentino: The story of love and a humble beginning

 

Love is just love it can never be explained.

 

Whenever I recount how we met, I smile, and thank the heavens for making our path cross, yours is a woman embedded with hope, leadership, strength, and vigor. If afterlife there is another life I will choose again and again to be by your side.

You are just like the glory of the day you are born, the world created a special event out of all day to celebrate a woman who possesses the qualities of the mother of the world, your smile and your cool heart touch my morrow to my veins. Someone asked me how do we meet, and I began to tell the story of a humble beginning.

How the Love story started

I do remember I first met her at a summer lesson when I was in Junior Secondary School 2 {Jss2}, I was the most senior for that summer lesson. So it's normal for me to pass the directive to my junior to clean the school environment before the commencement of classes. she was in Jss1 with my Sister.

They became so close. She started visiting my sister at home, and this continue as we all grow together. I got attracted to her even as a young boy. I knew she would grow to be a good wife material. So I wasn't thinking of any premature relationship with her. I already concluded in my mind to keep her. 

Funny right? On a faithful day in which I was now in Jss3, I professed my utmost intention to her, an action exhibited through night calls, these were the days of extra-cool.

She replied immediately without wasting time that she was just a small girl and doesn't consider relationships to be the next thing. She also added that I'm just like a brother to her and that if at all in the future she wants to consider a relationship, it won't be with me. That we are family already, I was heartbroken when she said this, and afterward, the more I want to get close to her the more she distanced herself from me.

It became so bad that she started doing things to piss me off intentionally. She snub me, ignore my chat on Facebook, and started calling me by my name, which is common to women if they want to disrespect you or they now see you as a mate. Meanwhile, before approaching her hand for love, she greets me distinctly and respectfully, and before she calls my name Brother Tayo, her knees will almost touch the ground.

Fast forward to 2014 when we started dating and got married in 2021, this is solely on the fact that we watched ourselves grow to what we wanted, joined with fervent prayers.

Today, on this special occasion of your birthday, I want to take a moment to express how grateful I am to have you in my life. You bring joy, happiness, and laughter into every single day, and I am so lucky to call you mine.

Your birthday is a time to celebrate the amazing person that you are and all that you bring to this world. Your kindness, compassion, and generosity are just a few of the things that make you so incredibly special. I am constantly in awe of your strength and the grace with which you carry yourself, even in the toughest of times.

You are my best friend, my rock, and my soulmate. I cannot imagine a life without you, and I am so thankful that I get to spend forever by your side.

So on this special day, I want you to know that you are loved more than words could ever express. I hope that this birthday is as special as you are and that it brings you as much joy as you bring to my life.
