Nigeria Decides: Peter Obi in TBS, Lagos

...Jokes of the century.

Visit no Monarch, supporters say Oba of Lagos is 'Nobody'

The much-awaited Lagos state rally by the Obi/Datti campaign has come and gone but did not leave without some irregularities in it. Peter Obi is the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, a party he joined after being shown the left hand by the experienced Governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike and Atiku in the PDP before the 2022 Presidential primary election held in Abuja.

Peter Obi concluded his Presidential campaign in Lagos, instead of Anambra where he hails from, it's a political fact that one's home should be the resting place for any politician who is on the ballot, but the case is different with Obi, who choose to conclude his rally in Lagos. This can only mean one thing, he is not accepted at home. Anyone who is not accepted at home has a name they are called, and you know it!

Fact: Peter is not welcome at home, he was chased out of Anambra when he went to campaign, and one of the reasons is that he betrayed Ojukwu, a shoulder he rests on to become a Governor.

Lagos rally

Peter Obi upon landing in Lagos, ran a fast one on the intelligence of the Obidient mob, he went straight to Alaba International Market, where he knows his people, the regional-centered people who trade and do business, upon getting there like a formality, the people hailed him, share the videos from the point, call it unfounded names in the dictionary of Nigerian politics. The funniest thing is the people stuck to their trade instead of following him to the campaign ground at the Tafawa Balewa Square.

Fact: the actions of the Igbo's supporters at the Alaba Int'l Market means one thing; the love for Obi is just lip love, and eye service, the Igbos from history don't love themselves. Anambra Igbo doesn't see an Ebonyi Igbo as Igbo, the same goes for the remaining states.

At the TBS Square

A million-march event turns out to be less than 50,000 persons attending the event. It was believed before the visit, by some new poll and regional politicians and mischief makers that Lagos state is in the bag for Peter Obi and the Labour Party, but the reverse is the case. Peter Obi's TBS show tagged campaign is the mother of all lies, as the drone images show otherwise as compared to the online rant.

Fact: Elections are not run on social media and having a bunch of herds with no head according to Soludo, does not translate to winning an election. Peter Obi enjoys the reception of some cheap celebrities who make a name in Lagos, not in Anambra. Like Machiavelli, the end will surely justify the means.

Non-visit to Monarchs in Lagos

The greatest mistake committed by the self-seeking Presidential candidate and as El-Rufai put it a 'Nollywood actor' Peter Obi is the fact that he set aside reasoning to please some sectional few in the way and manner he will go with the Lagos campaign.

The Yoruba will say "We can't pass through the King's palace and not greet the king" - should we say the Igbos don't have respect or Peter Obi choose to look down on the revered King, or Peter Obi is on a course like Nnamdi Azikiwe did in the early days of the coming together of the union, only time will tell.

A great number of Peter supporters say the Oba of Lagos is a Nobody, and this too will not be allowed to slide without repercussion either by the ballot or other means. Politics should not be a thing that will make children still being fed by their parents talk anyhow or those that are of age but are neophytes in the game to abuse institutions.

Concluding, to be fair, Peter Obi should not be a center of discussion, but the recent swipe is a No-No for sensible people across the specter of life. He erred in law and in the face of humanity, his supporters said too much, and they spoke against the gods. and he who speaks against the gods should be prepared for the repercussions. The repercussion will come first from the ballots.

The Nigerian people are advised to vote against someone and a party who does not respect traditional institutions, Peter should be shown the way come February 25th that power belongs to the people, and the Monarchs are the interface between the people and the gods then the government. Vote wisely.

God bless Nigeria.
