Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Presidential flagbearer of the All progressive congress in the forthcoming 2023 general election has said he is still searching for his running mate.
The comment was made at an event of the book launch of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the book which is titled, "Mr. Speaker" is a compendium of his walk into partisan politics, through to becoming Speaker of the 9th assembly.

Tinubu, while eulogizing the Speaker, said he will create another time to thank the celebrants, who did so much as regards his landslide victory at the APC National convention recently held in Abuja. "I thank you Femi, for what you did during my primary, is a story for another day, I will spend more time, too many time, and people might be bored, they might be envious too, they might be jealous, I won, I won with a landslide. I thank you."

He further made comments on the deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Idris Wase, saying "...And we see his deputy, sitting down there too, you are a very good symbol of unity, dependability, and honesty. Thank you!"
He concluded by saying thanks to both men of the Green chambers, "Thank you for both of you, you have not rocked the boat, and we need to learn from both of you, how you made the pair work, because 'I am still searching for my running mate'.
