The Presidency jokingly passed a comment on Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Presidential flagbearer of the All progressive congress in the forthcoming 2023 general elections calling him "A proud presidential flagbearer."
The comments which was made at the event of the book launch of the Speaker House of Representatives, held at the Transcorp Hilton hotels, Abuja.
The comment was made by the Chief of Staff to the President, Dr. Ibrahim Gambari, when he got to the point at which he delivers the President remarks at the occasion. He was cheered on, after passing such comments with himself laughing.

He spoke some minutes after Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu deliver his remarks.
The event which have in attendance Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Minister of state for Health, Minister of Finance & Budget Planning Hajia Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed, , Clerk to the National Assembly Arc. Ojo Olatunde Amos, Businees tycoons including the Chairman Heirs Holdings, Mr. Tony Elumelu, serving and former Members of the House of Representatives among others.
