His Excellency Rt. Hon. Aminu Masari, the Governor of Katsina state earlier today decorated his grandson Officer Othman Faruk Masari who is a police officer, as he was elevated to a new rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police Investigation, in Kano state.
The Governor in a statement on his social media handles while decorating the grandson said he joined the CP Sama'ila Shu'aibu Dikko, the Commisioner of Police, Kano state, to perform the duty.

The statement reads, "Earlier this morning, I joined CP Sama'ila Shu'aibu Dikko of the Kano State Police command, in decorating officer Othman Faruk Masari with his new rank of ASPI."
The former Speaker House of Representatives further said, "Faruk Masari is a grandson to me and an officer of the State Criminal Investigation Department."

He then prayed that May almighty Allah blesses and guide him "I pray, that Almighty Allah will bless and guide him in the discharge of his responsibilities."
