Justice Tanko Muhammad the Chief Justice of Nigeria, has resigned his postition.
As at the time of filing this reports, Semzyblog learnt that the Chief Justice resigned on Sunday night. It was further learnt that the resignation is sequel to ill health of the number one legal man of the nation.
With his resignation, information flying around is that the most senior Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, will be likely swear in as the acting Chief Judge of Nigeria.
You will recall that last week, 14 Justices of the Supreme Court had written a letter to the now resigned CJN, lamenting the derelict state of affairs in the apex court.
