Delta State Governor, Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa has congratulated the winner of the People's Democratic Party Presidential primary election Atiku Abubakar.
In a statement made available through his verified handle, Okowa said "I congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, on his emergence as the presidential candidate of our great party at the PDP Presidential primaries".
He further states that it is time for all the aspirants and stakeholders to come together to rescue Nigeria. "Now, all the aspirants, leaders, and all other stakeholders in our party must come together to rescue Nigeria".
You will recall, at the primary election ground, Atiku Abubakar was on the run for his experience and cash by Emperor Nyesom Wike, the current Governor of Rivers State.
Wike had polled 237 votes while Atiku polled 371 votes to be the flag bearer of the PDP at the fast-approaching 2023 General elections.
