Dino Melaye speaks after loss in Kogi PDP primary election

Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district at the National Assembly during the 8th Senate speaks after losing out at the People's Democratic Party primary election held in the state on 23rd May 2022, having come to a stalemate with his opponent with 88-88 votes respectively, which led to a rerun on the 24th May 2022.

After the rerun, Mr. Dino lost out big with a margin of 99-164 to his opponent Hon. Tajudeen Yusuf is an unexpected turn of events for Dino, who always brag about things.

Dino in a statement credited to him says He is a winner, "I am a winner. My winner's status is not tied to any election. It is my eternal heritage. Dino is Dino."

He further that, he is proud to have been associated with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, "I am very proud to be associated with Atiku Abubakar." You will recall, that Atiku is one of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential aspirants in the forthcoming election, which primary is yet to be done, due to politics between the two main political parties.

Also recall, the Semzyblog team of political analysts, as tied the result of the Kogi west primary election to a one on one tussle of titans between Atiku and Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers, as the duo is in the race of who picks the party presidential ticket in the forthcoming primary election.

Dino further comment, that Atiku is a true patriot, "A true Patriot, consummate humanitarian and passionate Unifier". He concludes with his campaign motto, "Don't make a mistake Dino is coming."
