The Cross River state Governor Ben Ayade has lost the All progressive Congress primary election to contest for senate in the forthcoming 2023 General elections.

 

The grammar speaking Governor lost the party ticket to one Adams Cecilia in a keenly contested election.

Martin Ojie - 61 votes

Adams Cecilia - 140 votes

With the loss, Ayade hope has been dashed to go to the senate come 2023.
