It is youth O' clock in 2023 - Mubarak Mijinyawa declares, picks nomination form

The Speaker, Nigeria Youth Parliament, 4th assembly declare interest to contest a seat in 2023 amidst jubilation among friends, family and well wishes.

RT. Hon Mubarak Mijinyawa pick the interest form to declare for the seat of house of assembly in Gombe state. The experienced democrats wish to contest the seat of Member house of assembly for Dukku south in the state house of assembly.

The first Wakilin Matasan Dukku (the representative for Dukku youth) has this to say; "After due consultation with family, friends, allies, and political stakeholders; I have picked up a nomination/expression of interest form under the platform of our great party, the People's Democratic Party PDP for the office of Member to represent my Constituency, Dukku South in the State House of Assembly.

He further said, he took the bold step after considering so many factors "I took this bold decision after taking many factors into account. Over time, I have come to realize that youth have to step up to take up leadership responsibilities which can only be possible through active participation in secular politics.

The former speaker declares "Youths need to get seats on the tables of policy and decision-making at all levels and we must contest for positions irrespective of our age or financial status. I am confident that 2023 is going to be a revolution in our country's political space and I am confident that it will be in favor of the youth.

 The National Youth delegate at the Commonwealth of nations opined that "It is youth o'clock come 2023"!
