Arc. Ojo Olatunde Amos, Clerk to the National Assembly


The Clerk to the National Assembly Arch. Ojo Amos Olatunde has given an all round applause for the formulation of the South West Youth Parliament. This was expressed during the visit of the youth Parliament, as the Clerk to the National Assembly who is the administrative head received formally, the Parliament.


In his words; "this is a very remarkable organ formulation in which I was happy to receive the letter notifying me of this meeting as notable youths of the zone has come together so that other geopolitical zones in the country will not leave South West aside in youth representation and advocacy, and I sincerely appreciate the aims and objectives of the Parliament".


While assuring the youth Parliament of the continuous support of the National Assembly with reiteration that they should come up with anything they feel the NASS can do, he also expressed the need for some measures of knowledge and strong ability to make different personal sacrifices as the sky will apparently be the beginning so far there's a display of loads of commitments by members of the Parliament.


An official and formal recognition was  equally given to the South West Youth Parliament by the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives when the youth Parliament observed the live session of plenary which aroused cheers by the sitting Rep members.

Furthermore, the special assistant on gender equality to the speaker of the House of Representatives, Mrs. Seun Osamaye charged members of the parliament to hold in high value an esteemed corporation within themselves.

In another familiarization visit to a member of the House of Representatives representing Obokun/Oriade federal constituency, Hon. Oluwole Busayo Oke, much emphasis on core legislative interest was a centre point of his advice to members of the Parliament.


Hon. Oluwole Oke therefore advised the young parliamentarians to represent people, but to most importantly make sure there is a personal development as individuals and youth parliamentarians.
