10 ways to forget a dead or lost pet

Lampard was the name of my friends dog, not until I get to visit him did I know he had one. On a weekend after several attempt to have a meeting with my friends came to fulfilment, not until then we have always been meeting outside work environment and business arena. These are friends you can't do without, we vibes to songs and one catching thing about them is their social media update which is but long and funny, sometimes tempting.

Yea, here comes the day as promised, I left my abode, but before then they had thought I won't make it over base on past actions caused by life changing activities, I took the ride, got to each point of destination as described. I got to a point where I was subjected to either pick a bike or Keke (Tricycle), I for a person prefer the later to the former with the age long idea that 'Four wheel ride is the best, three is better, two is choice'. I spoke with the rider and he acknowledge to know where I was going, for the fact he his not the next in turn he handed me over to the next to move, telling him where am heading, and he nod to understand.

As we left the semi park so to say, being a lover of buildings and sinking location once, I got to notice the area and noted the ones have seen before, lo and behold I arrived where the rider presumed I was going, on highlighting I called my friend, I am in so so so place, what do I do next? "Ohhh, that is not the place", expressed my friend. He offer he come pick me up, I protest, at this point I had no option than to pick the last option of ride 'Bike'. This time around I had to give the phone to the rider so as to not lost in this new age of breach in security and increase in kidnapping, though I wasn't afraid but I just have to be mindful.

On this note I have to says though a joke/memes but really I mean it; a big thanks to all the bike men who have always been helping strangers to their destinations including girls coming to chill with the big boys. Smiles.

Arriving, a car kept honking, and I head up, I saw my friend. We exchange banters and pleasantries in the men's way, off we zoom. I can't but agree that I love the environment, and the built, I entered to start another talk of the country, past experience, and the others, not girls... It is important to note that men don't talk about girls.

We did the usual, drinking, we at some point decided to go clubbing, but the idea was refuted by others whom I felt were tired due to the week bustle and hustle. I was shown the room I will sleep, and we continue our talk, also branching on the Afcon topic.

When our drink got finished it was then we had to drive out to the nearest supermarket, not until then I saw my friends dog named 'Lampard'. I asked why such name, I believe he hate the idea Frank Lampard coached Chelsea at some point, my opinion though.

Such a pretty Caucasian dog, I been a lover of pet express my interest, on getting closer, Lampard bark at me I got scared, wow wow wow. I had to let the sleeping dog lie.

Arriving after 3'O clock am, we still saw Lampard wagging his tail telling me I am welcome. As we got in do some small talk and then went in to sleep.

The Sad Enigma

As we wake up from sleep, talking I had him bark, lovers of dog should understand the scene, as the day break for breakfast, Lampard is dead! Shocked!! My friend got distressed, in a non speaking conditions, not even after spending some huge amount of cash to revive him from a recent sickness.

Lampard is gone! That day was not funny, mood got change, tea for breakfast got cold. And we were all reminiscing on what had just happened. Continue to rest in peace Lampard!

So in case of lost pet or dead one, these 10 points are best way to either forget them which you can't but at least help you get your balance again.

1. Keep their gadget: gadgets which include cage, feeding and water trough. By doing this, you get to not see it regularly, because upon seeing it you get reminded of the sad event of their loss.

2. Take down their pictures: even if they had a good end keeping their pictures will remind you of them which can cause you a pain of losing them.

3. Replace the pet: the longer we held to a particular thing, be it a broken relationship or loved one the harder it's for us to get over the experience. Which is sometimes hurtful. So if the pet can be replaced, then go ahead, and if not calm your nerve, and believe there are other options.

4. Seek the opinion and counsel of a veterinarian.

5. Take pleasure in what you love doing.

6. Have interest in helping others who has one as a way of doing community service.

7. Preach and support pet safety in your area, you can as well arrange to make it a law to protect animal.

8. Stop abusive animal hunting, which is one of the major way pet get killed base on the fact that some people don't like a particular pet, instead of taking a good step of expressing their mind they find a way to kill the pet. Bad!

9. Be modest, in learning how to handle the case of loss of animal or in the case of death, you will be able to handle that of human being which matter more than animal.

10. Be prayerful and take heart; this is to a very large extent 'Your choice.'
