The Govenor of Zamfara State has ordered state police and other sister agencies to act immediately on the Presidential order to shoot on site people or group seen carrying AK-47 or any weapons. This he said on his official Twitter handle. "The Zamfara state Police and other government security agencies are to effectively implement the Presidential order to shoot on sight at bandits, persons or group of people seen with Ak-47 or any weapons."

He further said "Only those approved by law or the security agencies are to carry guns and other sophisticated weapons, anyone found in unlawful possession of guns should be shot on the spot."
He also announce his administration will continually support the security agents "Our administration will always support the police and other security agencies with all the necessary logistics so as to discharge their duties effectively."
This is coming at a time when insecurities is on the rise in Nigeria. A detribalize order such as this is important, it's implementation should also be detribalize.
