Ondo State Youth Parliament (ODYP) is a legislative and Developmental Training Institution that is created to strengthen, reinforce, and consolidate Government's effort in empowering young people through meaningful youth representation in driving Ondo State developmental agenda.

The Ondo State Youth Parliament (ODYP) has reiterated that it will continue in its efforts to defend the youths and further advances their course as the Muslim faithful celebrate Eid-El-Fitr.

In a statement made available to newsmen earlier today in Akure, the State capital by the Parliament spokesperson, Hon. Olushola K. Ogunniye.  The statement reads "The Ondo State Youth Parliament (ODYP) remains committed to protecting, advancing and defending the policies that will mitigate yearnings of the young persons, and also promote unity among the youths of the State"

The ODYP Speaker, Rt Hon. Smith Ikumapayi  encourages the Muslim faithful to further extend the teachings inculcated during this fasting beyond the holy month of Ramadan, and prays to almighty Allah to accept all their Ibadah.
