The Former Governor of Ekiti State Mr. Ayodele Fayose has congratulated the President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on winning the Presidential election held on the 25th February 2023.
Mr. Fayose, in a statement aired through his verified Twitter handle, says "I congratulate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on his election as the next President of Nigeria."
Mr Fayose further took a swipe at the PDP candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar saying "As the Presidential election has come to an end, I urge other contestants, especially Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to accept the outcome, and move on. There will always be another day."

You recall, Mr. Fayose although a former Governor joined the G-5 also known as the Integrity group to lead a campaign against the candidacy of Atiku Abubakar and the continued stay of the PDP party Chairman Iyorchia Ayu. In one way they succeeded, in another look they lost.

Taking a swipe at Ayu, Mr. Fayose made a call for his resignation, "As for the PDP Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, who crashed the vehicle of the party, it is time to go back home, he must resign now!"
