The former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has led other past African leaders to visit Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at his Abuja home.
The visit was a means to congratulate Tinubu on being the expected President-elect of the ongoing Presidential election in Nigeria, as it stands Tinubu is leading by a considerable margin and has fulfilled the requirements to be announced as the President-elect as soon as INEC concludes collations of results.

Alongside former President, Jonathan was Former Ghanian President John Mahama, among other African and Ecowas leaders.
The entourage was received by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the company of APC Governors including Nasir El-Rufai, Kaduna, Alhaji Umar Ganduje, Kano, among others, Senators which include Senator Tanko Almakura among others, and other well-wishers.
