PDP gives directives on the Presentation of Certificate of returns

The People's Democratic Party has issued a directive on the presentation of a Certificate of Return to eligible aspirants who will be the flagbearer of the party across all offices in the forthcoming 2023 general election.

This was contained in a press statement issued by its National Publicity secretary Hon. Debo Ologunagba.

The press release was titled "Presentation of Certificate of Return to PDP Gubernatorial Candidates."

"The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) invites our Presidential Candidate, all Governors elected on the platform of the PDP, all Presidential aspirants, members of the Board of Trustees, members of the National Executive Committee, members of the National Assembly and all critical stakeholders of our Party to the Special Ceremony of the Presentation of Certificate of Return to all our Gubernatorial Candidates".

The PDP National working committee picked Tuesday, June 7, 2022, as the day of the presentation of the certificate of returns, the timing was made official as 10 am prompt, at the National executive council hall, at the PDP National secretariat building, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.

Hon. Debo further clarified that the presentation at the National secretariat is only limited to Presidential & Governorship flag bearers and that other lower offices presentations will be held at the respective state secretariat of the party.

"Please note that Certificate of Return for House of Assembly, House of Representatives, and Senatorial Candidates of our Party will be issued at the respective PDP State Chapters from Wednesday, June 8, 2022.", the statement concludes.
