Delta state APC Governorship primary election result

• Deputy senate president clinch the ticket

The Delta State All progressive congress has concluded its primary election. The conclusion of the election saw the current Deputy President of the Senate clinch the party ticket in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

He clinched the ticket with 1,190 votes or correspondents in Delta declared.

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege

The primary election was held at the Federal College of Education, Asaba, the returning officer, Mrs. Oyibo Nwaneri declared Ovie Omo-Agege as the winner.

The Deputy President of the Senate will have to slug it out with his opponent, the candidate of the People's Democratic Party, Mr. Sheriff Oborevwori, who is the current Speaker of the Delta State house of Assembly.
