APC PRIMARIES: Akoko South East/ West House of Reps election result

• As sitting Hon. Ade Adeogun lose his return ticket

Honorable Ade Adeogun has lost his return ticket to contest for election to the Green Chamber representing the good people of Akoko South East/ Akoko South West in the forthcoming 2023 General elections.

Hon. Ade Adeogun only had 2 votes, to what seemed like a victory to democracy as all politics is local. Gboyega Adefarati floored the other candidates and beat them for their popularity and cash. 

The election was contested between 5 candidates, with the sitting Honourable member coming distant 4th in the free and transparent election.

Adegboyega Adefarati - 95 votes

Mr. Gboyega Adefarati is the immediate Commissioner for Agriculture in Ondo state, under Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, led administration.

Gboyega Adefarati is also the son of the Former Ondo state Governor, Adebayo Adefarati who ruled between the years 1999-2003.

Ade Adeogun has once said where the President comes from for the 2023 General elections does not matter, while he comes from the southwest region. This comment election observers believe does not go down well with his constituents and the Ondo state citizen.

It is further allayed that Adeogun made the statement because of his political leader Rotimi Amaechi who is currently contesting for the Presidency in the coming 2023 General elections.
