Seyi Makinde, Oyo state Governor during a solidarity walk
To mark International Anti-Corruption Day, we embarked on a solidarity walk with officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibadan Zonal Office, this morning. This year’s theme is ‘Zero Tolerance to Corruption.’
The fight against corruption is the responsibility of all of us, as citizens. It is important that if we see corrupt practices in any sphere of government, we say something to the authorities. We, in turn should not engage in corrupt practices.
Our administration has shown our commitment to minimise corruption and its impact in Oyo State, by transmitting the Oyo State Financial Crimes Commission Bill which was recently passed into law by the Oyo State House of Assembly and will receive my assent this week.
