Hon. Dele Gboluga Ikengboju
Press release
Ondo state gubernatorial aspirant, Banji Benjamin Okunomo congratulate Hon. Dele Gboluga Ikengbogu, member representing Okitipupa/Irele Federal constituency, Ondo state of his victory at the Court of appeal.
Okunomo says his victory has been pre-divinely determined, says it has been determined by God long time ago. You will recall that Hon Gboluga of the Pdp defeated Akintoye of the Apc in the 2019 general election. His victory was challenged by Akintoye at the election petition tribunal holden at the Ondo state judiciary complex, Akure, in which the trial judge erred in ruling by saying the winner of the said election is not a Nigerian.
Not satisfied with the judgement, Gboluga challenge the ruling by filling an appeal also holden at Akure. Delivering judgement today the three presiding judge of the Appealate court rules in favour of Hon. Gboluga of the Pdp, upturning the judgement of the tribunal.
Banji Benjamin Okunomo
He won convincingly at the election, because the voice of the people is the voice of God, when a man's victory is given by the people nothing can take it away, his victory is an evidence that God has a hand in it, Okunomo says.
I thereby wish him a fruitful stay in the Green chamber, and never to fail the trust of the people, and to those who stood by him during the days of trial. Okunomo also lauds the ruling saying, "the judiciary is the hope of the common man".
I hereby congratulate Hon. Gboluga of his victory at the Appeal court.
